Peugeot 208 - further details revealed

The Peugeot 208 is coming and with its Summer 2012 launch, further details have been released to whet our appetite.

Already setting the UK media alight, the Peugeot 208 has already been highlighted by The Week as one of the best new cars arriving in 2012.

Adding to the excitement of this new Peugeot, the Top Gear group claimed that the 208 is a "clean, good-looking car". With a boot 15 litres larger than its predecessor, the 208 is even more practical for daily use.

Providing a practical vehicle in today's technological age is something that only covers half of the story. The Peugeot 208 comes will be offered in four "trims":

Three of these will be equipped with a "new touch-screen driver interface". What Car? noted that "the basic version allows easy control of the car's stereo system and Bluetooth phone connection. For another £400 you can upgrade the system to incorporate satellite navigation, but the really clever bit comes in the form of mobile internet access".
