Peugeot 3008 - Winner of the International Design Award 2011
French design is unsurpassed and their vehicle design is no exception to that. This year at the 2011 Australian International Design Awards, two of Peugeots's designs made it to the finals. One of them, the RCZ sports car is no surprise but the overall winner was the Peugeot 3008 crossover.
The shapely curves and innovative features managed to impress the judges with its "blend of motoring concepts whilst at the same time adopting a number of new and original technologies such as Dynamic Roll Control and Grip Control". They went on to note that the Peugeot 3008 featured many specifications that were previously unheard of in a car of this category.
Clearly the Peugeot 3008 is not just a pretty face as along with winning the International Design Award it has won What Car?'s Car of the Year award for the last two years (2010 / 2011).
Fifth Gear noted how roomy and versatile the 3008 is, along with the fuel economy: the HDi version providing a 53.3 mpg (combined urban and rural). They also noted how the price was the most competitive in its category and its load space was enviable
With its eye-shadow sharp looks, its incredible specification and award winning features, the Peugeot 3008 deserves your attention. From only £15495 on the road, the Peugeot 3008 is quite clearly ahead of its class. Contact Charters at Aldershot, Camberley, Uxbridge or Reading for a test drive now.
