Peugeot 207

The Peugeot 207 is not only Europe's best selling model in its class - it is the company's most popular car in the UK.  With a line-up offering nearly 50 versions that range from environmentally friendly entry models to the head-turning 207 GTi hot hatch - we're not surprised the Peugeot 207 is a big favourite with Charters' customers.

Choice What the media say
Fifth Gear television show says:
"Bigger and better than its predecessor, the 207 combines strong design with excellent practicality.  The handsome styling incorporates design cues from both the 206 and 307, with a broad radiator grille and swept back headlamps. Inside, decent plastics and well-placed switchgear give the cabin a sensation of quality, with the chrome-ringed instrument dials having a classy look to them. It's impressively spacious, too - and plenty of adjustment for both seat and steering wheel. Impressive boot space underlines the 207's claim to be the grown-up supermini, with one of the biggest luggage compartments in the segment."

"It's pretty good to drive, too. A long wheelbase means that it's able to effectively smooth out progress over lumpy, bumpy roads, with the handling combining nimbleness and adjustability. The new electrical power steering system is particularly impressive, serving up just enough feel for keen drivers while remaining nice and light around town and when parking."

Caring for the environment
The Peugeot 207 range is the heart of the Blue Lion line-up that reflects vehicles with CO2 emissions lower than or equal to 130 g/km, that are manufactured in an ISO 14001 certificated production facility and are 95% recyclable.  VED (road tax) is as low as £30 for some models, reflecting the low CO2 emissions of 117 g/km and fuel economy of 64.2mpg (combined)

Did you know?
The Peugeot 207 follows in the tyre tracks of Peugeot’s best selling cars ever: the 206 and the 205 - but is actually the same size as the former 306 model - giving you much more car for your money.

An International Engine of the Year award was won by Peugeot's accomplished 1.6-litre, four-cylinder direct injection turbo petrol engine which was introduced in 2007 on the Peugeot 207.  The engine improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions by around 10% compared with the previous generation of engines.  This award is judged by an international panel of 65 renowned motoring journalists from 32 countries, who assess engines for driveability, performance and economy, and recognise manufacturers successful application of advanced engine technology.
