Already voted "the most beautiful car in the world" the new Citroen DS4 is a four-door coupe that combines family motoring - and a five star NCAP safety rating - with a stunning design.
Why Charters loves the Citroen DS4This car delivers on so many fronts. It has three full sized rear seats, yet a chic and stylish coupe appearance. It is great to drive, and offers exceptional fuel economy and low emissions. You can pack all the family essentials into the capacious 370-litre boot and a host of clever storage areas, but still benefit from stylish details such as chrome touches, premium cabin materials, a panoramic windscreen, and a luxuriously comfortable driver's environment. |

Charters' favourite feature of the Citroen DS4There's nothing quite like the Citroen DS4- which has a high stance resembling a 'crossover' but with a coupé roofline. It has some lovely design features including tinted windows and hidden rear door handles which give it a really sleek side appeal, whilst the illuminated LED lights are a feature, day and night. We also love the interior - with 45° of upward vision optimising driver visibility and a choice of five leather combinations, including two-tone options. But then there's the engine and performance... so much makes this Citroen DS4 a great choice of car. |

Charters' best buyPrices for the Citroen DS4 range from £18,500 to £24,000 depending on specification and trim options - but we think the innovative e-HDi technology makes that option our best buy. |

Caring for the environment
Everyone knows that Citroen has along-standing pedigree and expertise in engineering highly efficient direct injection diesel engines. The DS4 offers the option of micro-hybrid e-HDi technology which consists of a second generation Stop and Start system fitted with a reversible alternator and an e-booster that enables a breathtakingly fast and smooth 0.4s engine restart. |
|
Charters' customer choiceThere's a choice of five engines. So do you opt for one of the two diesel engines, both fitted with a particulate filter. You can choose the HDi 110hp (also available in micro-hybrid version e-HDi). or the HDi 160hp. Then there are three petrol engines to consider: the VTi I20hp, the THP I55hp and the new THP 200hp (which offers impressive torque and C02 emissions of 149g/km). The Citroen DS4 is fitted with unique intelligent traction control system as standard, with systems also fitted to help with braking (electronic brake force distribution and emergency braking aid) and to keep on your trajectory (ABS and ESP). So there's no choice when it comes to optimum safety. |
